OREO®
Led the test market and national rollout of Oreo® Cookies N’ Cream Ice Cream. This was a licensing venture between Sara Lee Corporation and Nabisco Brands. It resulted in $140 million first year sales.
GULDEN’S®
Managed Gulden’s® Mustard Brand business, including all marketing and sales trade programs. Introduced the squeeze bottle line extension and dramatically increased sales.
CHEF BOYARDEE®
Restructured marketing program for Chef Boyardee® pizza, and this resulted in 20% sales volume growth.
JIFFY POP®
Managed Jiffy Pop® popcorn brand business, including all marketing and sales trade programs. Developed and introduced its microwave popcorn line extension. Initiated and approached Walt Disney Studios to conduct tie-in promotions with their cartoon characters. This dramatically strengthened sales and distribution.
POPSICLE®
Created new products program for Popsicle Industries, a division of Sara Lee, which included the criterion, process, and led research team to identify and test new product concepts and product lines.
DENNISON’S®
Managed Dennison’s chili brand business, the top selling canned chili on the west coast. Initiated idea of chili cook-off tie-in with Coors Light Beer, which increased the Dennison’s brand Nielsen market share by plus 12+ points. This promotion was SO successful that the two companies continued the cook-off promotion for many years thereafter.
SILVER PALATE®
Directed research to study competitive structure of the Specialty Foods market and how the Silver Palate® brand fit. This included multiple focus groups and one-on-one interviews throughout the country. This was conducted for a go/no decision in a merger & acquisition project.
NATURE’S CORNER®
Created Nature’s Corner® Magazine, which explores the intelligence & sentience of animals and other critters of Nature. Created magazine concept and conducted research to determine how to build it into a major mass animal magazine. Edited and published issues.
MATH MADE EASY®
Designed new website and created strategic platform to widen the brand product line. Served as contract Marketing Director.
